Indications
- symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea of various origins (allergic, emotional, drug, radiation; with a change in diet and quality of food, in violation of metabolism and absorption);
- as an auxiliary drug for diarrhea of infectious origin;
- stool regulation in patients with ileostomy.
Dosage regimen
Inside, swallow the capsules without chewing, with a sufficient amount of water.
- Adults with acute and chronic diarrhea

initially prescribed 2 capsules (4 mg) per day, then 1 capsule (2 mg) after each bowel movement in case of loose stool, the maximum daily dose is 8 capsules (16 mg)
- Children over 6 years with acute diarrhea and chronic diarrhea

appoint 1 capsule (2 mg) per day, then 1 capsule (2 mg) after each bowel movement in case of loose stool, the maximum daily dose in children is calculated based on body weight (3 capsules per 20 kg of child’s body weight), but should not exceed 8 capsules (16 mg)
If stool normalizes or in the absence of stool for more than 12 hours, the drug should be discontinued.
The duration of treatment is 2 days. If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours, seek medical attention immediately.
