Indications
Spasms of smooth muscles in diseases of the biliary tract: cholecystolithiasis, cholangiolithiasis, cholecystitis, pericholecystitis, cholangitis, papillitis.Smooth muscle spasms in diseases of the urinary tract: nephrourolithiasis, urethrolithiasis, pyelitis, cystitis, bladder spasms.
As an adjunct therapy:
- with spasms of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, gastritis, spasms of the cardia and pylorus, enteritis, colitis, spastic colitis with constipation, irritable bowel syndrome with flatulence;
- with dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain);
- during some instrumental studies, including cholecystography.

Intravenously and intramuscularly
- For adults

the average daily dose is 40-240 mg of drotaverine hydrochloride (2-12 ml of solution/1-6 apmul), divided into 1-3 doses per day intramuscularly
- In acute colic (renal or gallstone)

40-80 mg (2-4 ml of solution/1-2 ampoules) intravenously slowly (injection time approximately 30 seconds)
NOTE:
With intravenous administration of the drug, the patient should be in a horizontal position due to the risk of collapse.
