Dosage regimen
Dosage regimen
The drug is taken orally without chewing, drinking plenty of liquid.
The initial dose of the drug for both indications is 10 mg/day (1/2 tablet of 20 mg), the maintenance dose is 20 mg/day.
Patients with mild to moderate renal impairment and/or hepatic impairment do not need to adjust the initial dose, however, regular medical supervision is necessary at the beginning of treatment.
For patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 20 ml/min), the recommended initial dose should not exceed 10 mg. The maximum daily dose of the drug is 20 mg.
